I was messing with my GTB last night at practice(stupid) and I screwed things up, I just need to get it back to the default setting. Right now when I hit full throttle, the motor cogs down every few seconds, it goes full throttle, then down, full then down, making the car undrivable. I tried to reset it at the track, with no luck. Any help would be great, thanks

When you go thru setup by holding the setup button and turning it on and then go thru setting the throttle and brake it will then be at default. If it isn't running after that you have a different problem.

Brian is correct. The setup resets everything to default. Don' forget to set your Lipo cutoff if you need it. Reset will turn it off.

I already did that and it still cogs at full throttle. I am going to check all of the wires and the motor.

Check batts in radio, batt in car, look for a bare spot in a wire, are the wires in the connectors tight; all these can cause situations like this.

What motor are you using and what radio and receiver?

Check that the motor wires, where they're soldered to the tabs, are not touching or no solder is connecting the tabs together. It will make the motor run horrible and the rotor shaft feels like a blown wind when you try to spin it. The rotor should spin free and easy.

Took it all apart and cleaned it, checked wires, all are in good shape and no bare spots, I am running a reedy 6.5, and spectrum dx3.0 radio and reciever. It worked fine before I started messing with it, it just didn't feel like I was getting full power, so I tried to reprogram it to my radio again, I messed with the drag brake setting, and deadband, I also checked to see if it had lipo cut-off because if it did I was going to turn it off because I run trinity 4500 lipos which have the cut-off built into them. I will try to get it straightened out tonight.

Thanks,
Chad
