I took the old JL casting I weathered and aged and created this little desk diorama from scratch... I made the fence from small tree twigs, picked up a few little tiny pebbles and some moss I purchased at my local hobby shop... I took it to show the owner of the hobby shop and he put it in his display case... He ask me if it was for sale, I replied, sure if the price was right... He offered me 25 bucks for it and sold it later that day for $34.95... I couldn't believe it sold for that much !!!

Well Dont stop now, you have a nice little diecast fundraiser there or at least you can trade the shop some dios for some products u need for your own stuff. Tell him you will take requests for certain castings also. Take it a run with it till it dries up or someone else will!!!!!!! Nice work Dude!!!!!!!!!

great job. as said before trade out with the owner but get enough supplys to build 6 to 1
example= the bottled grass sells for 11 bucks thats enough grass for probbly 6 or 7 dio's
use all you can to get what you can. then comes the profit. again nice job.

Looks wild man. An online friend has been building these little dioramas for years. Here is a pic of one of his latest.

how did you mount the trees onto the stand without them falling over?
