I bought and paid for 5 JL tuff ones magnets from this seller, slot-car-guy, on May 14th... even paid for it through paypal... for some reason he filed a non payment complaint against me. I went throught the usual channels, I even sent ebay the transactions details from paypal... but still nothing... I keep getting threats for non payment.

I see this guy is getting lot of negetive feedback lately and I'm left wondering how much crap I'm going to put through to resolves this... So, if any of you guys out there know this seller,slot-car-guy ... can you try to get through his thick skull that I already paid fior the auction, I can prove it, and tell him to return my emails?

thanks
Jim

One of the reasons I just don't deal through eBAY anymore, it's just not worth the hassle.

I would call Paypal. If you look around their website you can find a number (I don't remember where on the site) to actually call and talk to a LIVE person.
I have called twice and they have been very helpful.

Prove it should be easy since there's a transaction number associated with each payment or receipt of payment to/from your account. Just call PP and seen if they can't retract your paymemt from his account. That's if he hasn't closed it or zeroed it out. Good luck! rr

A power seller will have a lower % then the ave. seller so keep that in mind also. Try to pay with a Bank Money Order as much as you can, they can be
tracked.

Paypal has been having problems the last week or 2 with sellers not getting confirmation. I won a dvd and was wondering where the heck it was and when I wrote to the guy he told me paypal is having some problems and he didn't recieve a "payment sent" email, so he was waiting on it.

I've been having the same problem. I send the payment thru Paypal and it shows up as Pending and then a few days later I get a completed notice. I've been using Paypal for a long time and have had the same checking account etc. I would call their Customer Service department. Something is going on with them and not the seller.

Hmmm, I won't buy from anybody with less than 96% positive....... and only buy anyway if I have security built in.

I always use a full service credit card for e pay-paypal, never, ever use a bank transfer, debit card or e check any more. The stuff I pay for with an annual fee includes that whole level of security against goods-not-received, unauthorized purchases, double billing, or charges that show up more than invoiced - pay balance, so no interest. Been there, f#&K^n done that, not worth the incredible hassle or my time. Did an echeck once, stayed pending for 4 days. That doesn't make anybody happy.

One of the problems with Pay Pal is if you pay with an echeck its like getting a regular check, you have to wait till it clears.the person who sends it thinks they are paid but they have not paid.the seller still has to wait.if you pay through a savings account you will pay immediately.pay pal even tells sellers not to send the package till the echeck clears

Ive tried to convince myself of that. But then a deal like this comes along.

Just got em today and everything was just as described. The charger and 'bird alone are worth the price.

it turns out the seller changed his paypal address but forgot to update his auctions links... I guess he uses a template and never updated it.

I have a perfect feedback rating after close to 1300 transactions...and rather than deal with me like man, he goes to ebay and calls me a deadbeat over 20 bucks? And this is after his own mistakes lead to this confusion and his refusal to respond to my emails?

Never again. I will never buy from him again. I don't need the hassle.

Jimmy, Only reason I asked is cause I went through same type ordeal. Mine turned out OK after I looked up their home phone through the white pages and called at them at 6:30 am. Also had to start a claim with Ebay. Finally got car after 4 weeks. Good luck Gary.
