I was disappointed when I saw what Mattel did with the Speed Racer series of cars. And I don't usually collect non Mopar cars, but when I saw these, I had to have them.

I agree, besides the larger scale Mach 5 I found in an acrilic box at Target, those are the only SR 1/64 scale cars I've bought.

I believe these are 1:55 scale, not 1:64. They should be releasing these also with matching International trucks. I've posted pictures here:

They also have the 1/55 scale three pack of the Mach 5, Shooting Star, and Snake Oiler at KMart. Price is pretty much the same as if you brought them individually, but I like to get them in one shot. When I get a chance, I have to pull out my JL set of SR diecast and compare them to the JADAs.

Stopped at a Kmart today. All the JADA Speed Racer stuff is 15% off.
Scanned one of the cars like in the first post and it came up $2.53.
Not bad for DIECAST Speed Racer cars while Wal*mart still wants big bucks for there plastic ones.

I've only seen and bought the one Mach 5 which was the only Jada car of that series at TRU. They never restocked and I haven't seen them in any other stores across Central Florida. At least I got the one I wanted.
