One of the finest and best organized events I have EVER had the privlege attending....I put it right up on the top shelf...with only a few others as nice....Racing was GREAT fun with the format and the event felt like attending a reunion party with nothing but great friends and righeteous slot heads full of helpful tips...The partinging and racing lasted all day and well into the niight...
Even the neighbor fellow brought over the remainder of his red white and blue custom made memorial day cake for anyone to sample....By that time I'd had tasted too many steaks, shrimp, brats, and every trimming you could imagine to eat cake..Oh yea....The Captain was in the house too and we started off the day with a toasting salute to the catered musician who did a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner on the electric guitar....I thought WOW what kinda special treat was that....then out from the kitchen steps a hired aspiring chef (who I nick named chef Boy O Boy) The cookin was GOOOOD an plenty too....What a day we had and all thanks goes out to M. Donnie Goodwin and I'm sure a lot of big help from a lot of his good friends....What a super organized day of racing and partyin....Oh ...I wanted to also mention the two huge tents covering the front of the property for extra party and pit space...I can only wonder what the neighbors were thinking.....Thanks to all the Slot Heads that helped Donnie and hopefully I'll have the oportunity to be back again someday soon....
