hi guys thanks for the nice comments the aluminum wings are about twice as heavy as the foam wing. i raced with one and the carbon fiber wing in my photos and you could tell a difference in weight the car wasnt slower but it had alot more rear bite the aluminum takes a beating real well but they do bend i can make side boards too. as far as colored metal no i dont have any i could bend one up and send it unassembled then you could paint it and put it together yourself brad if you want a real nice foam wing talk to robert knox he has a buddy that makes a beautiful piece Brad

Just for a little renovation, the top right side of the front wing should bend out, not in.

thanks for that ... on that particular wing set he customer asked for them to be bent in ... and that just so happened to be the set i pictured. they can be built how ever anyone wants them. besides with that small of surface area on the side boards im not sure if that small lip would even catch air... maybe?

You absolutely correct, the bends have no bearing on airflow considering how small they are and that the cars arn't in yaw (sideways) like the big cars are. I'm guessing that if the car turns on its side, having the bends the way they are pictured probably damages the wing less and I didn't take long enough to think about it before I responded.
