I am looking at getting a novak gtb and 6.5r combo for a revo brushless conversion, but i have seen that all of the people using them have been using them in smaller trucks like the stampede and the lunchbox. If it does not have as much or more power than a 3.3 engine then what system would. I like novak because I will only need on battery. Also do I need to get a plug to attach to the esc for the batteries? finally would the novak 6.5r work with a mamba max? Thanks

In my opinion the truck will be too big/heavy to run the Gtb/6.5 system.(which would probably overheat and shut down). Not too sure about the Mamba maxx,but I suspect you would have the same problem.

Novak has their HV systems which run 2 batteries and utilize a bigger motor and are used in monster truck and 1/8th scale aplications.

Castle Creations is coming out in the near future with their Mamba Monster which is made for monster trucks and 1/8th scales as well.

Thank you MDB after I wrote this I found that hv system and that looked like a better fit. Would the 4.5 be way to fast and not have very much torque for a revo. I am not doing speed runs but I also dont have any good place to bash I kind of just drive around so I was thinking the 5.5 or 6.5. what is you oppinion?
