Last year I ran Hole Shots and Bow Ties in 2wd truck.

I have some M2 bowties, which, of course, I will try, however, I am not going to rule out other choices; stingers, medium switchers and or red king pins. Stay in the grove and your tire may differ from those who like to slide their turns wide in the soft stuff and blast out.

Forgoing the local "Classic Hobbies" for stronger competition (sorry Steve). ME, open truck and some tires from which to choose.

Sounds like we might have a good mod truck turnout. Mr. Thomas, you in again?

LOL! You might be right about that. Are you running Mod truck too or are you limited to one class? I think that fancy radio you just bought will allow you run two classes!

Track opens around 10:00 but some people show up as early as 9:30. Drivers Meeting is usually at 12:00 with the first round of qualifying immediatly after. The timing system does not accept personal transponders so make sure you have a transponder mount or a hole in your body. There are plenty of pit spaces available but if you want to pit outside, bring a table... that's if that area is accessible, might be too wet. I'm sure Lance will chime in when he gets a chance.

As of right now I am planning on being there. I am trying to talk Dietz into running scale to show us the proper way. As far as the class....I am planning on running scale but some butthead:rolleyes:is trying to talk me into Mod truck to school me, but I think I am only smart enough to run 1 class.

Taking a break at 3:00p.m. been on the track today since 9:00a.m. Looks good. Doors open at 9:00am for practice. There are a few tables outside for pitting and you can bring your own. The area beside the dome is dry for pitting space, and of course the pitting space in the dome. Races start at noon. Looks like we'll have a beautiful day for racing. you might want to bring a chair.

I'll be there for scale. Thomas, I hope you run your scale, as I don't think I've ever seen you run nitro before. :) Are you gonna abduct Ben and make him come too?

Sounds like I should have locked my wife in the closet and dealt with the consequences later. I really wish I could have been there.

Good times today and a VERY good turnout for the first time outside. I wish I was able to run the main but that Dag-on nitro got me befuddled. I'm not giving up though...I'll be back.

Great day of racing yesterday. Eric and Josh had my number for sure, Darn Electrics:rolleyes:. I'll be back next week with some badly needed new rubber and hopfully redeem myself. Good Times:woohoo:

Any Pics of the track? Is there a transponder system in place? What is the cost for racing?

Im going to try and make it out sunday and run open truck i have been busy and havent had time to race.

We have a transponder system, just not personals. Racing costs $12, $8, $5. The outside track is about 110x75. The inside, electric only, track is 40x55. We have pit tables with electric. You might want to bring a chair.

HA! Bring it! Actually, Brandon was a half lap ahead of us until a ballstud popped out (losi). So Joe, does that mean that you're not making it this weekend but you'll be there next weekend?

Next weekend for me every other ... If gas was 2 bucks a gallon then i would be there rofl...I have to buy a new piston and sleeve for the v spec anyways ..
