I have a Spektrum SR3000HRS receiver and was wondering what digital servo I should use. Every one that I look at says for heli. What are some I can use for my oval pan car?

For oval 1st choice would be the JR ds3421 Awsome servo!! #2 would have to be a Futaba 9650 also a good servo.

There are many valid choices and you will find that many racers have their preferences. I for one, like JR's DS9411 a lot. Quite small, relatively lightweight and very strong. But, JR DS3421 and Futaba 9650 are also very good servos that will do the job just as well.
JR DZ9000S is big, heavy and may be an overkill for oval application but if you can use it without your car being overweight, than it has the benefit of being versatile in that you could use it for other application such as nitro TC, electric TC, buggy,... while the others that were suggested may fall short.
As far as those servos marked for heli, it is a problem only if you plan on using your servo with more than 4 cells. Most were designed for 4.8v operation and most ESC will supply 6v through the BEC if you run with more than 4 cells. Some servos will tolerate it, some won't.
Hope it helps,
