What do you guys think about the EDM flopper bodies vs. the traditional "rigid" bodies. I have a lot of time with standard bodies, not so much with a flopper. I ran pretty much exclusively on the local 90' banked oval (stock motor). I definately could feel and see what the flopper does for the car, but I am not 100% convinced that it is any quicker. Maybe that's because of the track size. I ran CDRC in Albany last year for the WDRA race and looked at what everyone else was doing. Looked like a mixed bag as far as body choices.
So, my question is: 1) which do you prefer? 2) Why? 3) What class do you run and how fast is the track?

I think the floppers are a bit faster. Also they are a little easier to drive they tell me. I haven't used one yet. Like pancartom said, if your outside and it's windy they are a real handfull. I think it's up to the individual racer as to wether you like them or not.

In the wind, they are tricky. 20 mph wind + 20 mph cars with floppers = box kite.
Dale,
Give me a call at the shop when you have a few minutes and I can give you all the details/opinions/updates I have since CDRC last summer. Too much to type-

Thanks Todd for the info! My bodies will be quicker now. Hopefully we'll get to rub wheels this year, sometime.
