Anyone with any info about these sets please share. I'm a big Speed Racer fan and I've been looking for these ever since they turned up on the Jada web site months ago.

I found a listing on ebay for a wave 2 case of the 1:55 scale cars. According to the auction listing, this case assortment is as follows:

WOW!!!! So will there be truck sets for these new cars as well? Checking the Jadaclub.com web site I don't see truck sets but I did find these pictures.

Looks like the have the wrong scale shown for the one above. I think it should be 1:55 like the others.

I am hoping they offer more cars in the 1/55 scale. I think the larger scale cars look phenomenal too, but the 1/18, 1/24, and 1/32 scales are outside of my current collecting scope (I gotta draw a line somewhere). The 1/64 scale Peterbilt semi rig with the Speed Racer scheme is nice, but it's just not a car.

Update - 8/31/08: There is now a 12-car box sold by Jada that features 6 of the 8 released cars (Mach 5, Snake Oiler, F1 Mach 5, F1 Shooting Star, Prince Kabala, Shooting Star) loose in the box, 2 of each car.

The Jada website does have nice pics of their cars and it seems to be up to date.

Found the Wave 2 single card sets at Target today...seen 1 complete set, which I purchased and at another Target all but the F1 Mach 5. Seems that they were right out of the case with the case consisting of 4 Wave 1 cars and 4 Wave 2 cars???. I'm in Toronto Canada and we (as usual) don't think will be getting these as Wave 1 was the only Wave I seen up here and only at TRU. A quick run to the US and Out of 5 Targets I hit, only 2 had the Wave 2 cars. On another note also found about 3 of the Hot Wheels Wave 2 Batman The Dark Night Tumblers at the same 2 Targets that had the Wave 2 Speed Racer cars.

Anyone know if they are planning a Wave 3?
