Offered Classes:
SK Stock/17.5
Pan Car 13.5
SK Spec

Race Fees:
$20 per class

Doors open at 8am.

First Heat is at 11am.

First place winner in each class will get a TURN 4 CLUB PASS which is good for 10% off all hobby shop merchandise for 1 FULL YEAR!!
Second Place winner in each class will get a TURN 4 RACE PASS good for 4 club races. (atleast a $60 value)
Third Place winner in each class will get a TURN 4 PRACTICE PASS good for 5 practices. (atleast a $50 value)

Participants in the series who attend all 4 races will get a hat and/or T-shirt to show their support of this Turn 4 Event. The Point Series Champions will receive trophies and the top 10 in each class will get their names on the 2008 Summer Point Series Plaque which will be displayed at Turn 4.

SUMMER HOURS STARTING JUNE 1st - SEPT. 15
MONDAY thru THURSDAY - CLOSED!
FRIDAY 6pm-9pm
MOST SATURDAYS - CLOSED! (except the Saturdays of the
Point Series weekends 6/7, 7/12, 8/9, 9/6 - noon-4pm)
SUNDAY - 8am until racing ends, races start 11am.

I plan on building a car for this series. I will most likely be in the SK 17.5/Stock class. As I dont have a Brushless system yet.

Only 2 more weeks till the first summer points race. June 8th. I got a chassis with a rear pod bolted up and a front end that needs a major overhaul bolted on. I'm almost there. good thing i got 2 weeks to finish it.

Points race starts next week. We'll be open Fri, Sat and Sunday racing starts at 11am. SK 17.5 and SK spec are looking to be the larger classes right now. Lets get a few more 13.5 pancars to come down and take your chance to run at the Banked Carpet Oval Beast of The NorthEast. C'Mon!!!!

Thanks to Ken, Dan and Ted today for some Chassis set-up assitance. I Should have my SK ready for the track for Practice Friday Night. I just have to rebuild a few of those things called Motors. Yes that right I'm still running Brushed Motors and Plan to for the Summer Series.

Here is what i know of for turn out this sunday. The twins crew for spec, Poss sandy and kieth, There thinking about sk stock but may stick with spec. Dan T, Ken B, Rick S, ME sk 17.5, The New Jersy crew is questionable for stock. 13.5 Pan Charlie, Bill, Joe, poss Ken B, Dave S, ?Erik S?, Dave P. Im sure I'm forgetting Someone.

No clay targets for me this weekend,two days at Turn4 fer sure.Sk spec!!!!!!!!.Count me in.Stock Sk later on in season.

Mike and Kim...Count me in for Spec for the summer. I would like to move up to Stock, but no time/money right now trying to get the dirt stock on the track by the end of the month. I have no stock motors and nothing but Spec packs....Look forward to seeing everyone...Who is bringing the slip and slide???It is going to be 90-95 Sunday:cool:

Great! Looks to be a good crowd this weekend! We'll have lots of ice cold water, gatorade & sodas chillin' in the fridge. We'll also have some new menu items available - chicken on a bun, chicken panini sandwich, stuffed pizza slices & sausage/egg/cheese sandwiches & pancake/sausage on a stick.

Too bad you can't make it Bill, cuz all the cool kids will be at Turn 4...lol!...with the slip 'n slide! :cool:

ill have a sk for 17.5 and a 13.5 car with me as well. if there is enough for a class I may run.

Results & points are posted on our website under the results tab. Great turnout for a summer race! Thanks to all for sticking it out with us through that heat. 90 degree track conditions kept all current track records unbroken. I think we may have broken the record for the # of cold drinks sold in 1 day though!! :smile: thanks to all who were my guinea pigs too, trying out the new quick food items we added to the menu of snacks.

Almost forgot, quick summary of the results:
TQ SK spec went to Sandy and the win went to Al Saunders followed by Nick J and Sandy.
TQ SK 17.5/stock went to Joe Allevo and the win also went to Joe followed by Teddy and Dan T.
No showing of pan cars yesterday but it made for a nice large class of SK stock. I'm thinking Charlie was wishing he ran his pan car instead of his SK. That 'racer's luck' dogged him all day.

Thanks to Dan for filling in as race director for the heats Mike raced in. He's been itching to race for months!

Pretty much adopted Walts rules with the excpetion of the battery. We're gonna try 6 cell. This will mainly make it easier for the local town kids to get on the track with what they may allready have. We'll be open to Box Stock RTR Kits, or 27T Motors with 6 cell battery. All MUST run Foam tires.

Only a couple weeks till the next series race. Sandy we gotta get some help from the motor DR. I sent my batteries in for major surgery after the last race we'll see what the DR can do to help any survive.

HEY,must be somethinn weird goinn on around us,I had two spec batteries go south this week??????????.The run time on them is about 2.5 minutes,allofva sudden they went south.I might see Erik and see if he wants to part with your old yellow ones.They wernt to bad either,with a little flexinn theyed be up to par on what i had.Lipos ok for spec LOL

DR says dont get your hopes up.....Surgery has been messy!! LOL Might want to buy some Rayovac C's and solder them up.
