WarpWind 05-26-2008, 04:54 PM I was a bit bummed about not getting to race with you guys Sunday. So, I took the bike out and headed up to see what I was missing. I gotta say, I'm bummed that I haven't had a chance to run on the track yet. I love the layout.

smitymike11 06-01-2008, 09:00 PM They start at 2:00 and as far as I know they run every Sunday. He does skip some here and there depends if there is a big race.
Had a blast today running there.
darrell_49412 06-02-2008, 03:22 AM Al has races every sunday except for the weekends of the MORL series which are 6/21 , 7/12 , 8/23 , 9/20 or if you call the shop he usually puts the schedule on the answering machine the # is 231-854-6666
good running today paul ,hopefully you guys can make it every week . The racing has been great and everybody is great to hang out with
smitymike11 06-02-2008, 09:03 PM What type of gearing are you guys running at AL's? I had to switch after I wrecked my spur. I had a 20/86 but I bought a 90 and ended up running a 25,I think, and the truck seemed slow and was temping at around 115. I have the Speed-t and cannot put the speed on the fassest setting or my lipo cut off kicks in so I am looking for more speed without chaning anything on my speed control.
darrell_49412 06-03-2008, 04:30 AM i run the mamba 4600 system and i think i am geared at 20/90 but i have my throttle epa turned down to 100% (120% is max).not the fastest setup out there but controllable which i have found works better for me.

Hey your close! I geared my truck Sunday at 14/88. It was fast. Been going to Big Al's for a long time, Sunday was one of the best race days! Thanks Al!:woohoo:
vhobbies 06-04-2008, 09:01 AM Hey guys and gals.. thanks for all the turn outs weve been having at the track on sundays.. Its been a blast.
I would personally like to congradulate Paul for running so good on the 1st of june.
He ran a great race and beat me (al) for the first time in 15 years of racing.. I think its a great complement to me that some of you think thats something to do. Sure enjoy all the friendships Vickie an I have made all because of a little race track in Hesperia.
We both thank all of you for coming and making our sundays a lot of fun..
Congrads once more to Paul..
Thanks Al and Vickie
scrmngchkn 06-05-2008, 09:06 AM Big Al- its always a pleasure to run against you. Clean racing, good times, and always a great track! See you Sunday!
Randy Erb 06-15-2008, 10:29 PM Hi Al
What classes are you going to run on the paved oval? Does anybody have any 10th scale late models or sprint cars. I plan on coming up to this one. Where is it located and what time will you be there?
Thank-you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Randy:wave:
vhobbies 06-18-2008, 10:32 AM hey randy
I don't know of any other 10th scale late models coming but we will be running our1/18 sliders. the big class is 10th truck and some of the guys are talking about 1/10 buggies.
bring what ever you got. but no nitros because of liability. its a show for the public.
we'll be at the independant bank parking lot on main street. the first hour is setup and for any kids that show up then at 2 well start our heats. bring offroad tires to be safe because the pavement is slippery. hope to see you all there.

Al, if Mike and I brought some fire hose up, could we set up a small road course inside the oval? It'd probably only be the two of us. But we could show off some cars that turn left and right..... :woohoo:
