This weekend I was mowing and I hit a stump and it killed the engine. I fired it back up and it ran fine for a minute and then died. I fired it up again it ran fine but when ever I put a load on it, it blows out white smoke. I quit running it and looked it over and I noticed a little oil coming out of the fuel pump. I also pulled off the head and noticed that the gasket appeared to be slightly damage but I couldn't tell for sure. I am going to pick up a new gasket today. My question is could this be the fuel pump?

Did you turn the mower on it's side to check the mower deck and blades???

Check your flywheel key.

I put a new head gasket on and started easier than it has in a couple of years. Thanks for taking time to help me.
