i am going to buy an air compressor but i dont know which one could be suitable for me .
i noticed in some models that they have different bar pressure from 2 to 6 bars and i would like to know if this is something important
thanks a lot

2 to 6 bars is about 31-87 psi (in America). I assume you are using this for airbrushing?
Here's my take, yes, that's plenty. In fact, you will need a regulator to dial that pressure down a bit more. I shoot most paint at 15-25 psi (1.3-1.7 bar).
Even really thick paint I rarely EVER shoot over 30 psi (2.06 bar). The most important features in my opinion are:
1. Regulator to control pressure
2. Moisture trap so I am not getting water in my mix
3. A tank. Small airbrush compressors tend to surge a bit, so I use a small 2 gallon compressor from a local home improvement store. It is a bit louder when it is filling up, but I can spray for quite a while before it kicks back on. I would like to get a bigger model (15 gallon) cause once it is full, I can spray ALL DAY! :woohoo:
Hope this helps!
Chris
