NYSWLHUNTER 05-19-2008, 03:10 PM And if they do, will they all have the same Vermont license plate? WOOHOO!!! Any idea in which release and what livery? Newjon 05-20-2008, 07:10 PM Posted by admin on the UTHCC message board: County Roads is set to be released late Summer 2008. Series 1 is a great line-up that includes: 1965 Dodge D-100 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Convertible 1965 Ford Galaxie Convertible 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula 2008 Dodge Charger Colorado Police Car Hope this helps! Jon 40Intrepid 05-21-2008, 07:55 AM A 60's Dodge pickup?!? Cool!:woohoo: No_Ice_Kustoms 05-21-2008, 01:36 PM I think they should work they way through all there casts and make them all a POLICE car at least once and start with the Diecast HT Mustangs. G_G 05-21-2008, 11:16 PM I think they should work they way through all there casts and make them all a POLICE car at least once and start with the Diecast HT Mustangs. But that wouldn't necessarily be authentic, would it? No_Ice_Kustoms 05-22-2008, 10:14 PM But that wouldn't necessarily be authentic, would it? I would say throughout automotive history somewhere someplace EVERY car has been a POLICE car. Heck i have lived in small towns that the police used there own cars the city just purchased the stuff to put in and on them. Ever seen a Chevy Celebrity police car I HAVE..LOL Nebraska had Mustangs as Highway Patrol Cars & other states have used the 90's camaros and firebirds as police cars. So i say ya it would be Authentic,,, GL -- GIT ER DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! G_G 05-22-2008, 11:23 PM I would say throughout automotive history somewhere someplace EVERY car has been a POLICE car. As long it's done using authentic period liveries and doesn't turn into JADA style generic "cop-like" cars, it could work nicely. Perhaps one car every MCG release? On a related note, how about some other govenrment official liveries? Fire chief, perhaps? Newjon 05-23-2008, 11:46 AM I started collecting Greenlight because they make some righteous muscle cars. I associate pick-up trucks and emergency vehicles to work and I don't like to think about work when I am immersed in my diecast hobby. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they never made another cop car (or truck- rhymes with suck) but I suppose to each his own. toyparknyc 05-24-2008, 12:45 AM thank you all for the info. i wonder if i will beable to find the new ones in ny things seem inposible to find when i am back home No_Ice_Kustoms 05-25-2008, 08:25 PM The more real everyday vehicles the better, tow trucks, roll backs, delivery trucks, trailers of all sorts, campers, Boats, as long as they are TRUE 64th scale i hope GL makes them makes for better & more realistic dioramas. bluehemi818 05-26-2008, 08:15 PM I don't know about anywhere else in the country, but anything police/fire/rescue is always the first to go flying off the pegs here in the Chicago area. In my opinion, there is a huge shortage on the market over the last few years. Thinks about the period of 98-03 and how many pofirescue were out there from Racing Champions and Johnny Lightning and Matchbox (premiere). Now we get a couple a year from GL and JL, and the basic matchbox cars which are great castings, just a little too cheap to be collectible (even though I still grab every one I see). Think about how many people collect Emergency vehicles, and then couple that with all the kids that want them. There is no contest when it comes to comparing emergency vehicles to regular cars, so it blows my mind that they are so few and far between. I would DIE to see GL do a whole series dedicated to police. Just think of a triple black charger with some form of grill lights and deck lights!!!! There are SO many possibilites, they are absolutely endless!!!!!! vwnut 06-02-2008, 02:09 PM WOOHOO!!! SUPER TROOPERS!!!! No need to be making fun of VT state police :p I hope every one has a vermont plate I'lll buy them all (To bad there is only three stores in VT that sell Greenlight two k-marts, one toys r us) LIGHTNING44 06-04-2008, 11:26 AM If they did the Dodge Charger from the video game Grand Theft Auto IV, known as the FBI Buffalo in the game, i would buy it. It's black, black police wheels, with red/blue flashing lights in the grill and rear window. It is a FBI car so it has no roof lights or tampos Kinda hard to tell from the pic, but anyone who has the game knows its awsome.. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n248/bigpapa44_2006/FBI.jpg Al Markin 06-10-2008, 06:27 PM Yeah would love to see the NYPD Chargers. But highly doubt it. Love that flub with the plates. You can always see the black 1/1 scale Eastbound on the Belt Parkway at Erskine Street. Any weekday morning! And the front push plate adds a great touch to the appearance! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
