Chris08527 05-17-2008, 11:25 PM hey guys we made some rule changes, please check the 1st post for up to date details!!!
TBRC1 05-19-2008, 07:46 PM Any news on hotels yet. I checked the Best Western and they are at 125.00 for one night using a AAA membership discount. Well 125.00 plus taxes and such.
Chris08527 05-19-2008, 11:24 PM toby
you have pm
that is prob the closest place "normal" hotel you are going to find.
stay tuned for hotel details
TBRC1 05-20-2008, 08:19 PM I checked the comfort inn and they are booked the weekend of the race ...........................DARN they were cheaper. Well if I can find someone to split the room with me I can do the overnight thing. If not I don't know what I'll do.
Chris08527 05-20-2008, 08:36 PM toby
what town was the comfort inn located in???
TBRC1 05-20-2008, 10:32 PM I think it was manchester township
TBRC1 05-20-2008, 10:59 PM Here's a possibility
Comfort Inn (NJ030)
1009 US 206 , Bordentown, NJ, US, 08505 | Phone: (609) 298-9111 Fax: (609) 298-7960
I see the route between track and hotel being 195 W to 130 S connect with 206 S and the hotel loooks to be on the right as you go south. Check the map and get directions to be sure !! The hotel site says 15 minutes from six flags
Chris08527 05-20-2008, 11:11 PM I think it was manchester township
that was the same one i was thinkin of. . .
TBRC1 05-20-2008, 11:13 PM Here's another possibility
Econo Lodge (NJ060) 187 US 130 & 206 , Bordentown, NJ, US, 08505 | Phone:
It seems that the hotels are just a bit west of the track in the Bordentown area.
Greg Sharpe 05-23-2008, 09:05 PM If you guys are running two classes (10.5 & 13.5), are you swapping motors in one car -or- are you using two cars?
Anyone have Spec motor trucks laying around? It would be nice to field those as another class. What's the interest like for that?
TBRC1 05-25-2008, 12:00 PM If I run 2 classes I'll have 2 different cars setup. Anyone for 17.5 ??? If not I'l stick to 13.5. FYI Arizona weather seems to only change by temo. All this week the forcast is sunny sunny sunny is this getting repetitive???
abdule 05-27-2008, 06:55 PM 17.5 is good
TBRC1 05-31-2008, 05:49 PM Chris will there be practice friday afternoon/evening ???? Trying to figure the plans for that weekend.
Chris08527 05-31-2008, 11:00 PM YO TOBY
that race day is a sunday, we will have our regular club race on satuday
right now there is no plans on having a friday practice day.
if anything changes i will let you know.
TBRC1 05-31-2008, 11:58 PM I knew the BIG race was sunday. I might come up friday night and crash in a hotel. That way I'll be nice and rested for the saturday racing.
Chris08527 06-01-2008, 09:16 PM hey guys
i have very few people asking about hotel info. there is not enough interest to get a block of rooms. but i did find a good hotel finder website that gives your hotels located close to six flags great adveture.
http://hotel-guides.us/new-jersey/six-flags-great-adventure-nj-hotels.html
if you want to do a search on your own the jackson zip code is 08527
just keep in mind we are about 15-20 min east of great adventure. hope this helps. i am going to say most of these places are 20-30 min from the track. The closer hotels are all booked up already or were too expensive being so close to the jersey shore. hope this helps.
Chris

there is going to be enough racers for oval
a couple of guys plan on doing jackson sat and the TRAX race on sunday!!!
TBRC1 06-03-2008, 10:27 PM For those planing on the 15th race that might need hotel rooms I found a decent AAA rate at the econo lodge in bordentown. It's not to far from the track...................maybe a 1/2 hr or so. For me that's better than a 3 hr drive.
popsss 06-04-2008, 04:18 PM im planning on jackson this sat

I am thinking about coming up for some 13.5 action. or maybe some open mod if anyone is interested.
