I was out and about this morning and came across two MBX 1-100 models: #96 GMC TERRADYNE. I was trying to check out there paint jobs when I noticed the rear wheels were not exactly where they should be. Further inspection revealed this one was never riveted together at all. Now if that is not enough, there also seems to be some king of foreign matter inside the blister pack as well. It can bee seen on the left rim. Yes, I did pick it up and here are some picks of this monstrosity...olesarge90/Gill
PS Does everyone agree that is must be a manufacturing error? And, a good cure would be not to drink too much the night before to correct this???

Well Sarge the first pic looks like it has a 3 inch body lift on it and the second pic looks like he hung the back axle on a tree stump and broke everything loose.
Sorry, being a four wheeler I couldn't resist!

i saw that at target the other day. the back wheels are set way to far back. the one i saw looked like it sagged in the middle like the frame was giving away. looks like junk to me and will be warming the pegs as far as i'm concerned.

what a bummer.
maybe you can sell it to a Hot Wheels collector.
They seem to be the only ones interested in these. Just can't figger out thier obsession with broken or mismatched wheel cars. 99.9% of them look like crap, far worse than if they were how they should be, and they pay more for them which just glorifies the stupidity of some Chinese worker..:drunk:

Unless the Chinese and Taiwanese are vacationing in Thailand and have a work visa, they are not the ones that are currently making these mistakes. Since the chassis is labeled with THAILAND (picture #5), I firmly believe the Thais are the ones making these kinds of mistakes.
Thanks to everyone that posted these very powerful positive states in response to my question. See here is the most likely scenario IMHO: The worker that applies the rivets apparently forgot to put them in place on this model.
I carefully took the model apart and photographed each piece. When I put the model back together again (still no rivets), I observed that it would hold it shape (stay together in one piece) quite easily without coming apart as it did in the blister pack. One only knows how much these blister packs endure in transit.
