I never built the Aurora Voyager as a kid... so the Moebius version is my only experience with the kit. Is it me, or does the kit fit together very poorly? The main body parts didn't fit well or even align very well. Even trying to make things align flush along the bottom seam werent that successful. The wings don't fit well to the body and the gaps are quite poor. I used a Dremel to hollow out the solid, flat wing roots to try to make them fit a bit closer to the body. In the end I cut the locating bars off the body sides so I could sand them flat with a sanding block. Still a lot of putty work...

Its a cool little kit but for some reason its giving me fits. Has anyone else had fit problems (or solutions?). It seems like maybe the problems go back to the original kit design.

By the way, CA accellerator spray crazes/crinkles the kit plastic, so be careful here!
