Thanks medic57 05-07-2008, 09:14 PM What brand? jstudrawa 05-07-2008, 10:23 PM BRS Hobbies ($6.95 / pair) and Scale Auto ($6.75 / pair) have about the best prices on Tomy track that I have researched, Jag Hobbies has them for $3.75 each. SuperFist 05-07-2008, 10:36 PM It would have to be Tomy track or he would be wasting his money and would have to start over with all new track anyway. If you can get Tomy 15" straight track anywhere cheaper than Scale Auto sells them for at $6.75 a pair then you'd be doing good. http://scaleauto.com/ I'd like to find some Tomy 15" straight track myself for cheaper. AcesFull 05-08-2008, 12:28 AM Thanks guys T-Jet Racer 05-08-2008, 03:27 AM if you order that many you may be able to talk the price slightly, woth a shot. $405.00 for a loose track order I would try for 400 shipped. probably 20 for the shipping on it. never know! jstudrawa 05-08-2008, 08:07 AM Scale Auto does have a membership type of deal, where you buy a certain level and recieve discounts. I'd contact them for the exact details. They'll work with you a bit too, for large orders. I'm working with them for my $350 order at the moment as well. medic57 05-08-2008, 09:58 AM It would have to be Tomy track or he would be wasting his money Not true, I have a Tyco Track and it runs mighty fine, although I don't much care for the connections, the rail is superior to Tomy as far as characteristics goes. rodstrguy 05-08-2008, 10:44 AM Check with Lucky Bob's out of Milwaukee... He even has the 18" radius curves. 414-327-4003. I know he also has a website on the slotcar web ring, but I don't have the address. 1976Cordoba 05-08-2008, 06:15 PM Check with Lucky Bob's out of Milwaukee... No problems whatsoever. SuperFist 05-08-2008, 10:01 PM I order from Lucky Bob's and when you order online any order over $50 the shipping is free. Yea, and don't forget the Tomy 18" radius curves for a high speed track. 1/8 - section (pair) $8.95. rodstrguy 05-09-2008, 09:57 AM Thank's Doba... Twolf and Superfist, seeing how you are not too far away, If you get a chance to go there, bring cash and cars as he has tons of parts, cars, and great tracks to race on. jstudrawa 05-09-2008, 11:29 AM I order from Lucky Bob's and when you order online any order over $50 the shipping is free. Yea, and don't forget the Tomy 18" radius curves for a high speed track. 1/8 - section (pair) $8.95. How did you get free shipping? He just gave me a quote of $232 for 56 straights and 9 15" rad 1/8 turns and said he would have to weigh the box to tell me the shipping cost. Last time I checked, $232 was more than $50. Looks like I'll be buying from Sacle Auto. I'm stoked though. This is the rest of the track I need for the Scenic 70 layout from G. Braun's site. Hopefully by next weekend I will have the track completely laid out and can begin the wiring fun!!!:woohoo: medic57 05-12-2008, 08:08 PM On his site it says there will be shipping on race sets. AcesFull 05-12-2008, 09:25 PM On his site it says there will be shipping on race sets. Not sure what it says on the site, but I spoke with him directly on the phone and he told me that he would have to weigh the package to give me the shipping cost. BRS hobbies gave me about the same price with free shipping and so did Scale Auto. Not a big deal really, I just wanted to mention that shipping for over $50 from LB's is NOT free as mentioned earlier. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
