Where is the best place online to order individual track from? I need to order 60 15" straights and would like to try and get a good price. Thanks

What brand?

BRS Hobbies ($6.95 / pair) and Scale Auto ($6.75 / pair) have about the best prices on Tomy track that I have researched, Jag Hobbies has them for $3.75 each.

It would have to be Tomy track or he would be wasting his money and would have to start over with all new track anyway.

If you can get Tomy 15" straight track anywhere cheaper than Scale Auto sells them for at $6.75 a pair then you'd be doing good.

if you order that many you may be able to talk the price slightly, woth a shot. $405.00 for a loose track order I would try for 400 shipped. probably 20 for the shipping on it. never know!

Scale Auto does have a membership type of deal, where you buy a certain level and recieve discounts. I'd contact them for the exact details.

They'll work with you a bit too, for large orders. I'm working with them for my $350 order at the moment as well.

Not true, I have a Tyco Track and it runs mighty fine, although I don't much care for the connections, the rail is superior to Tomy as far as characteristics goes.

Check with Lucky Bob's out of Milwaukee... He even has the 18" radius curves.

How did you get free shipping? He just gave me a quote of $232 for 56 straights and 9 15" rad 1/8 turns and said he would have to weigh the box to tell me the shipping cost. Last time I checked, $232 was more than $50. Looks like I'll be buying from Sacle Auto. I'm stoked though. This is the rest of the track I need for the Scenic 70 layout from G. Braun's site. Hopefully by next weekend I will have the track completely laid out and can begin the wiring fun!!!:woohoo:

Not sure what it says on the site, but I spoke with him directly on the phone and he told me that he would have to weigh the package to give me the shipping cost. BRS hobbies gave me about the same price with free shipping and so did Scale Auto. Not a big deal really, I just wanted to mention that shipping for over $50 from LB's is NOT free as mentioned earlier.
