Just got mine 2 minutes ago.(thanks Steve for the speedy delivery and A-1 packaging as always)

Im very tempted to open one up and rummage through it. But I wont be able to build it for awhile so i think I will keep them shrink wrapped. Plus i want to wait for the lighting kits and decals from Just an Illusion.(hope they have preorders) Besides the box is cool enough to display by itself.:D:D

Hope it was ok to start another Seaview thread. I guess this thread could always be delegated to people who have just gotten theirs and their geeky reactions upon arrival.

Ahhhh its nice to be able to buy Irwin Allen related stuff again. Thanks Moebius.

I am a happy camper. Got my email that it was shipped. This was a model I hopped on immediately. Was very happy to see this material available again. Thanks Moebius :) Thanks Steve :)

I just got a e-mail from CultTVman (Steve) that he shipped out my Seaview yesterday (Wednesday). :woohoo:

Since I choose for U S Postal Service to deliver it I hope that Uncle Sam won't be the newest monster (only kidding Uncle Sam) to get his hands on the USS Seaview. :freak:

Let's see how long the Post Office takes.

Mine took 6 business days via USPS; Steve mailed it to me on April 29, and I received it on May 6.

With Steve in Atlanta and me in Central Florida I was thinking maybe 3-4 business days.

The fleet has been increased by one as of this morning. It may not be overnight but hey two days is not bad either. :woohoo:

When you first see that the Seaview is 39 inches long you can't imagine how long that is until you have it in front of you.:freak:

A word of caution to all modelers; check all of the palastic bags. In my haste to do a dry fit I almost lost a girder.:(

Hey Steve won't the wife miss the J C Penney adverstisment you used for packing material?:)
