Wasn't there a 1:1 muscle car (late 60's) that sported a hood decal that was a slot car track (maybe aurora sponsored?) and wasn't there an HO slot car that emulated it?? I thought MM ?? I cannot (due to advanced age) seem to remember. nd

Auto World sponsored a late sixties-early seventies Can-Am car with a track painted on it. Aurora released a McLaren in orange with either a gray or black colored "track" on it.

Didn't the Tyrrell F1 team have AFX on their cars too at one point? During the mid-'70s with the 6-wheeler?

I agree with all of you too but I also think that Chapparel race cars did as well. (I know this is not helping ) Do a search for them online and you will hit the Chapparel site.

Lots of folks assume the crazy graphics are slot tracks, but on the real car they look way different.

This was easy to find since I actually organized all my reference photos just a couple weeks ago. here is shots of the real car and a model of that car. You can also get this decal sheet through Pattos Place. Maybe even put it on a FastBodies McLaren if you are so inclined.....

Hmm that's interesting. I would never have thought of that car but it answers the OP's question.
Here is the actual graphics and it wasn't a slot car track...
