i have cleaned and rebuilt this carb about 4 times it is a throttle free design and i am unable to stop it from leaking it is not a fast leak it is a very, very slow leak that if u fill the tank it will drip out overnite need help to sort this out, can u also direct me to the proper site that deals with tecumseh carb rebuilding because i can not figure this one out.

Need model type of engine,if it is a float type carb.did you install a new needle and seat.The seat goes with the smooth side up.Also if the float is brass,shake the float to see if you hear gas inside of it.If so it has a small leak and needs to be replaced.Hope this helps.

Check the vent hole. It is probably plugged making the fuel syphon when the engine is shut off.

those metal floats were replaced with plastic floats same part # but different style of float
