I was thinking is it possible to use a slave motor dyno like the Tekin 900 Dyno to check rotor and motor strength.
The slave motor will have to be wired to the dyno motor side. The brushless motor will have wired to the slave side using rectfier diodes. (Flipped to what is normal to a Brushed test)
To test rotors, the same brushless core will be used on each test ( I am sure there is some old or unused Novaks in your pitbox). Since the slave motor and input votage to the slave motor are also constant any change in the numbers on the dyno are results in the change of the rotor.
To test motors, same test as the rotors, but the the core and rotor are changed.
Anyfeed back? I don't have a slave motor dyno. It was just something I thought up as a "poor-boys" way of using old pit equipment to test brushless rotors and motors.
