I know I'm going to first one on Sunday Memorial Day weekend. I'm going to be racing on the dirt oval in Ripley Illinois that Saturday and then going to SS on Sunday. Talk to Rick and see if he wants to meet up with you. I think my Wife and Andrew are going with me that weekend.

I'm sure that we will run any class if there are enough of them. We will be doing testing during the year and see what works and what people want to run.
Sunday May 25 is the opening day of racing at Storm Steel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, always a great time and good close competition.

Got my car ready for 10.5 tonight, should have the kid's car ready for 13.5 soon.

why do you local guys post on here much often.vinton track is one the premier tracks in country.lets get this going for iroar and vinton.one of if not the best track in country.and i have seen a lot of them.

As for why, I guess we just thought that people were looking at out own Website: www.iroaronline.org (http://www.iroaronline.org).

It is a great place to race, smooth and fast, the carpet usually never changes from the beginning of the day to the end, unless we get a very large crowd and then there begins to be a buildup of compound in the carpet and the traction goes way up.

If you click on our website and go to the forums there is a schedule posted in one of the treads.

Sunday is the 1st race of the 2009 Season.

Gates open about 8:00 AM, races about noon. Weather looks terrific.

Storm Steel will be hosting the 1st of the BRL cap tire series June 6.

Hope to see lots of racers this summer, always good competition and lots of fun at Storm Steel.:wave:

I've always had fun at Storm Steel. Really easy track to drive. It seems to take all of the good aspects from racing indoor at IROAR and adds to it the laid back attitude and helpfulness of outdoor racing. See more info at www.iroaronline.org.
