pearl 05-03-2008, 07:32 PM the ones with 3 wheels are neat , so is the articulated skidder
my soninlaw has an old one like that, and a articulated payloader
he uses them in his autowreckers yard they were old government machines he bought at a auction .
i never seen the ertl one before have to check out t.s.c. and see if they have any .
craftymore 05-04-2008, 05:22 PM Pearl, the version I have of the above Skidder is from the late 1980s or early 1990s. Would have to look at the box to know for sure. ERTL still does make the above casting, but the paint is a bit different. Wally World did have them for $5.44 a while back and TSC might have them as well. If a JD dealer is around in your area, check them out.
pearl 05-05-2008, 07:50 PM checked out wally world just one backhoe and lots of green tractors
t.s.c. same but they do have some neat graders . the john deere dealer i only seen a few green tractors, but i might find one at a toy show we go to its in farm country and all old toys. i picked up one of those little pedal tractors there a few years ago one dealer has nothing but farm toys .
craftymore 05-05-2008, 08:32 PM Toy shows would most likely be the best place as that's where I found my version of the casting. Seems like I payed less for the older version of this casting than what Wally World was selling the new version for! And it was still new in the original box! Got to love rural farm toy shows.

pearl 05-08-2008, 01:10 PM nice collection. i call the international a tandem because of the back axles and skidders, bobcats got to be a canadian thing i guess . that was what my husband collected all the larger scale graders ,dozers, backhoes, bobcats, payloaders they are nice . i have the gator one i find the scale makes them a little hard to collect i like the larger ones but am trying to keep close to 1/64 scale i have things i bought i have no idea what scale they are .
have you see the new grader it is very large bigger than a 1/18 scale car it is 89.00 at our t.s.c. store evey time i go in there i want to buy it but dont have anymore room
dusrusg 05-09-2008, 09:54 AM I had to pack up all my Deere collection when we moved.... I'll have to see if I can dig it out for some pics soon...
