Here are some goodies I've got within the last week (Yes! It has been a good week :p) Last saturday it was my birthday (48 - ouch!!) and I treated myself with the #12A Land Rover, the 1B Road Roller was a present from my kids and the #69A Commer Nestle Van was from my wife (along with "The Great Book of Dinky Toys")
On the second picture is what I found cheap at a large outdoor markett in Aarhus today. The #66 Greyhound Bus was meant for trade, but when I came home I realized that the one I got in my collection was with labels, this one is the earlier one with decals and the box is with "New Model", so it goes straight in at the shelf ;) The 12B box has remainings of scotsh tape on it, strange as the endflaps are perfectly attatched  The Corgi was one that I just couldn't leave for the price asked (£1.50) and the green Tomte VW is for my vinylcar collection (the last ones of the 5 colours that I missed of this model)
Aaaaahhh, if every week was like this one :woohoo:

Cool looking vintage MB. The greyhound bus is a stand out. Do you have any additional info on the green bug? Thanks for the pics.

I wasnt aware of the Greyhound decal issue - only have the sticker version myself in rw & sf - 5 very nice boxes there!
The Corgi Juniors stockcar is an accurate model of English superstocks of the early 1970s, very strong indeed and designed to resist a lot of contact. The plastic VW appears to be from a mould made using the 1960s Corgi german Police VW (many of these plastic cars can clearly be matched to Corgi, Solido or Tekno metal castings)

Craftymore: Of cause I can give some more info on the Tomte models (Hopefully the admins of this site will forgive this, as it has nothing to do with Matchbox or even diecast) :)
The Norweigian Tomte Laerdal made toycars in Vinyl in the 60's and the early 70's, in fact they were the only norweigian toymanufacturers at all, and therefore there are a lot of norweigian collectors for these.
The series of approx 1:43 vehicles is the most known, and was made in millions and exported all over the world. 35 different models in the series including a train and two waggons. All models were made in 5 (6) colours (orange-blue-yellow-red-green) + ultra rare cream/off-white. The cream is very difficult to find (I only got one!) and is belived to be factory-errors. The most common colours is the blue, yellow and reds the orange is slightly more difficult to find and the greens is HTF. SMS88 is right about the orgins, Tomte "nicked" their models from Dinky, Corgi, Tekno, Solido and Matchbox.

Here is my "Tomte Rainbow" (a few more has entered the collection after this photo)

SMS88: I was not aware that the Corgi was a model of a real race-car, I assumed that it was a fantasycar, made to stand up to the competition of the awfull Hotwheels at the time (like the hidious MB superfast from the early 70's) Does anybody have info/photos of the real car?

very nice week:thumbsup: really like the nestle’s van.
cool rainbow picture too.
here is another blue decal version of the greyhound. i think the easiest way to tell the decal from the label on this model (besides the color) is the decal has a tendency to have a wave to the lettering.
