The rules for the spec truck are, Trinity street spec motor with "F" brushes, Trinity 4-Cell spec battery (deans plugs are legal), any pan car chassis and your choice of truck body. The back of the body must be intact and the spoiler can only be 2 inches from the top of the deck lid, no wings. Bodies of choice so far are any McCallister body and so far the ORT is working well too. Any question just shoot me a pm.

Barry, thanks for the thread.

So I guess the 17.5 class that I suggested that runs same speed as stock is out? Near the end of season last year at Trax70 there were not enough 10.5 to have the class, what makes you think it will be different this year? As I said 17.5 was the second largest class at marshalls with enough cars for 3 full heats by end of season. Also take a look at roar websight, they list 17.5 as stock and 13.5 and super stock. I will run what classes you offer, I am just asking you to think about this. Maybe just say which ever class 17.5 or 10.5 has the most show up to race becomes the second offical class with prizes. Also ask arround at pratice race what ppl want, I cant be there for that sorry.

Cobra, I actually did take into consideration the suggestion of a 17.5 class but what works for one track might not work for another. When I took a trackside poll, everyone wanted to stay with the 13.5 because it is a little faster than stock but not as fast as 19T. However, I have always said that 3 drivers makes a class and if we have enough entries to make a class of 17.5, I can always make sure that class has prizes on a day that we have a big event. As for 10.5, if the people that have told to me that they are going to run 10.5, actually do run 10.5, there will be plenty of drivers for that class. I actually like watching the 10.5 cars fly around the track, and some of them literally fly around the track.:p

for the record
17.5 is faster than stock
i think if i worked on it i could maybe go another lap more in 13.5 than i did last yearso that would be as fast as what people would normally run in 19 turn

hope to see you guys sometime......

Rcracer00 can't make it for the June race as we have our own point series race that day, but we are trying hard to possibly make the August race.

I am not suggesting to not have 13.5, its the most popular class. I am suggesting 17.5 in place of 10.5 because everyone stopped running it after the first race last year (ORL). I will come to the track ready to race 13.5 and 10.5 but if there is not enough for 10.5 and ppl want to run 17.5 I will do that instead. I am just posting to show interest in a close to stock type class. Spec is to dam slow LOL.

That's ok cobra the garden state race is coming up, so get well and we will see you there. Just wanted to say congrats to Barry Braman for setting the new track record in 13.5 with a 38 4:00, should have been a couple of 39's but he'll get'em next time. Also, congrats to BOOMER for winning the A-main of 13.5 and Stan B for taking the Craftsman Truck win. I will have the results soon.

Had a great time again (after I found the bent T-plate anyway). Pretty hot out there. I think at one point the track was 109. My motor even went thermal (in the last 15 seconds of my main while leading of course).

Good luck to the new operator of Trax70 (Mike). Better let him know that if I'm going to be racing there that he will need to stock axles and bottom plates (sorry Russ).

Thanks goodwrench. I will be trying again to make the next race. My back problem is for life but I have my good days and bad one, just hope I am better by next race! Did you get a 10.5 class? Any one try 17.5 or show want to race it?

I would like to run 10.5 if enough people will run that are'nt afraid of the speed.

Im not afraid of the speed, I will run 10.5 if I can get to the track if my back will let me.

I guess only 13.5 and spec truck ran the first race? Somone let me know please so If I can make it to next race both cars will be ready.

If people dont want to run 10.5 I made a suggestion of 17.5 which is the same or a lil faster than stock speed. if im going to drive 5+ hours I would like to run 2 classes.
