Nice try Dave. I contacted you 1 week after it didn't arrive. I was in constant communication with you the whole time. Secondly, I don't have any money. I sent you the $170, and then you closed down your PayPal account! I'm out the $170 and no car.

You said you were going to make this right and come up with another car to send to me. From the begining, I was patient with you to track the package and even gave you 45 days to make it right. You still haven't made it right, closed your PayPal account, never sent any tracking number, and apparently couldn't communicate with USPS to find it. They would easily have confirmed that it never arrived.

Not for nothing, but you showed me the car after you got it and had it at the track. Had a clear body mounted to it and you said it was ready to sell. You even handed me the car because I was looking at the silva tray on it because I was thinking of getting one at the time. To say you never had a Silva/L4 in your posession is 100% false. ok have have seen all the cars james has sold on serveral acasions and see them every week and they are all ksg. so i never seen a l4 the only l4 i have every seen at the track is casper60 and jesse. all other are hyperdrive and ksg. so something is wrong here and knowing james35 in person he does not seem like the person to do that. and casper it might have been a ksg w/ a silvia tray b/c i kno it wasnt a l4 chassie

and we can look to geather at all the cars sold to prove and if needed take pics

and i forgot to mention packages do get lost in mail thats why there are unclaimed frieght stores.

go to ups and ask for things that went to that area code during the week you sent it and see were the guy droped it

Yeah no doubt. Not to mention there have been plenty pics available of Dave's silva car. In fact, there are still some available at the time of this post!

The car I had in the pits with the clear body during the time in question was sold to Mia. Everyone knows, it's a KSG car. Easy to confirm as well.

Dave, you said you shipped out many packages that week, and even another one that went to New York. Have you ever considered that you shipped it to the wrong place or that USPS never delivered it? Has that even crossed your mind? Or do you just resort to name calling? As soon as you can get USPS to find the tracking number, you'll be the one apologizing for your unfounded accusations. Go to USPS and get this resolved.

ok u got 2 saying it was and theres 15-20 saying it wasnt so lets see here lets do the math togeather 15-2= 13 and 20-2+18. well in life them are some good odds to be betting on the 18. so i would recommend you get the real storie not just the "he said she said" and you have still no proof of delivery go to ups and show the delivery its not so hard.

Ok, I'm an idiot and I Slammed James for no reason. I confused two different cars I looked at that night. The car James had that I looked at was a KSG gen1, not an L4. He had said he had an L4/silva car on the way but he hadn't received it. Another driver at the track had an L4 with a silva tray on it that he was selling. In my mind I ran the two together and confused them. It seemed odd to me in the first place because James did not strike me as the type to try and screw someone, and he's not exactly hurting for money.

I really hate it when these types of things happen on the boards and I can not just sit back and do nothing when someone’s character/reputation is at stake. Dpreston, I personally have known James for three years and I certainly consider him as one of the most honest and straight forward people I know. James buys these cars for the sole purpose of promoting our hobby, not profit. He has gotten several new racers into our club by providing an, at cost, RTR ride for newbies. Also, when our club wanted to convert over to brushless James was instrumental in helping other guys who couldn’t afford the change so they could participate. He is constantly helping others, new and seasoned alike. I know several guys who would stand up and echo the same. We should have more ambassadors of our hobby like him. Everyone up here buying, selling, or trading knows the risk and sometimes people do get burned, but you are all wrong on this one. James does not have your money or your car. I’ll put my own reputation up here on that. I’m sorry for your loss. It seems everyone was hurt by this transaction. Let’s put it to rest now.

I Am Not Saying That James Is A Scammer But I Know Preston And He Has Always Been Pretty Trust Worthy, And To Be Honest David Builds Half Of The Cars At Our Track. David Is Trusted With Every Ones Equipment He Takes It For The Week Gets Them Straightened Out And Brings Them On Sunday And Not Only Are The Cars Complete But They Are Faster And Better Than When He Took Them. Preston Is A Straight Shooter I Trusted Him With My Stuff Before This And I Will Continue To Trust Him After This. Dont Sweat The Small Stuff Preston. I Hope You Guys Can Work This Out. This Makes Our Whole Rc Community Look Bad And It Puts Alot Of Doubts In Peoples Heads About Trusting Others With Trades. Lets Get This Straight And Go Racing And Have A Blast
