sorry ld, no nitro for me. not a big fan of it and the $$ involved is not an option right now haha. glad to see people are not mad as that was not my objection. trust me i wont do anything like that again as i felt pretty bad reading that post. next time i come out there i will try to bring a decent crowd out there w/ me, just tough right now w/ gas being $4+/ gal :(

I know what ya mean about the gas. It really sucks what the oil companies are doing. Billions in profits and they still manage to find an excuse to raise the prices. If you put oil in your car you better not spill any cause they'll use that as an excuse to raise it again :freak: See ya next time and hopefully the gas won't be 5+ a gallon. I can see it coming though :mad:

I totally agree with you.
Personally, I think theres larger turnouts when it's a trophy race vs a cash race.
And.... I think the racers enjoy themselves better and have more fun.

The information is on the first page of this thread. Racing fees are $15 for the first class, $7 for each additional class. We will be racing every other weekend with electric on Saturday and nitro on Sunday on the same weekend. The complete calendar is also on page 1.

Yep, truggy class every nitro race, which is every other Sunday. Last Saturday we started the day with 6 or 7 truggies. Hopefully we can get this class to grow bigger....

first of all..... i broke the 4wd in practice and had no parts for it or i would have ran it all day... i asked around and someone had the part i needed so i politely asked and paid the FULL amt, as well as started dead last. i really don't see any problem. and it's not like i blew you guys out of the water, it was a pretty competitive race as whoever it was in 2nd was reeling me in at the end of the race.


i can see your guy's point, i didn't go out there "planning" on winning seeming as i even told Edwin i bet $10 i break it in the 1st 2 mins:freak:


so i formally apologize for jumping in for the $$.... again i didnt mean to ruin anyone's weekend or anything and again, i started dead last and had zero problems with that and really didn't even think the car would go the whole 7 mins.


mx131 is on it's way to be a great facility and i will be more then happy to make the 3 HOUR TRIP a few more times this summer as i had a blast. and i will make sure i run all qualifiers next time, broken car or not;)

We have discussed this issue and have decided that 'open' registration will close at the end of round #1. If round #2 has started for any class and someone wants to sign up for additional classes, we will discuss this with the racers in that specific class. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

:eek: MX131 has great traction! Just about any tire worked good there, steps, studs, holeshots, bow-ties, IFMARS, and goose bumps....

I stopped by the track about an hour ago and it is in great shape! It was not effected by the storms last night at all and actually could use some water! We will start watering tomorrow morning to have it perfect for the race tomorrow!

ehartman have you and duke gone over each others race dates. as of right now your both running on the same weekend. so if both tracks are running everyother weekend you guys need tobe on opposite weekends to get maxium turnouts!

So how does this track compare to other tracks Mike? I think it's gonna be a great place to race. Nice big facility they have. Just think if the indoor building goes up :thumbsup: Hey Edwin you can take the poll down now ;)

I like the fact that it is looser dirt than the hard pack tracks we are seeing everywhere. Real Off-Road... I still need to get the right tires for that kind of traction, but the lognuts on the truck where working pretty good. Need to try the goose bumps, it should even be better.

I can't wait to run my 777 at MX131!!! gotta wait 2 weeks though... FTMS next week and then I get my 8th scale ready to rip...

I am working on my car as soon as I have a minute. I build the front Big Bore shocks yesterday for the 777. VERY nice... Hope to get the Rears done between things tonight. Then I have to switch the flywheel to my WS7 III, work on my clutch and adjust the electronics and I should be ready to go...

I have to see what tires I have ready, but that shouldn't be an issue... Can't wait!!! :thumbsup:
