Just to let everyone know the "Cash Back Race" on the 24th is Nitro AND Electric. We decided to put them together on Saturday because most people are busy with the holiday on Sunday and Monday. MX131... Please post the hours for the cash back race. Might want back everything up an hour. Would be nice to get done by 5:00pm

The track is going to be worked on tomorrow night. Taking out/filling in the step-up before the straight and maybe adding more stuff like a double single in the track somewhere. Thought about a big banked berm at the of the straight but we will have to think about that. Safety issue is with people pitting by there. Maybe some sort of safety fence around the berm? More trash cans! Looking into speakers for just the drivers so it's not so loud. And maybe another porta potty. Anything else you racers want changed?

What tires were the 1/8 buggies using. I was going to look at Ogles (sp?) or Swints by they never crashed:( in my corner, or at all for that matter. I bought a new chassis for the 8 so That leaves me with enough $ for 1 set to buy for awhile. If I can figure out how to catch baby poo in a tire I can buy more she said. :freak: Thanks for the help.

Sorry, David didn't get very detailedon the post. I was thinking that we should start racing at 10am so things get done earlier. We'll post more details as they get finalized.

Went to the track tonight, but the office was closed, so I could not fire up the computer and get the results. Maybe tomorrow....

The changes are in progress. The step up is still there, but the hole before it has been filled in a little bit. I was able to fill in most holes in the different turns last night and tonight, so that is looking better.

I would like some feedback from electric guys: How did you guys like the 7 minute A-mains? Too long or not?

How about some feedback from the nitro guys: 5 minute qualifiers too short? Should we go to 7 minute qualifiers?

It's only MX131's second race and it's a cash back! I see a lot of fun races here this summer. See ya all on the 24th! Let's have some fun  I won't be out this weekend to help. Too much stuff going on  I'll get out next week after work. 5 minute qualifiers and 7 min mains are fine with me. Could even make the mains 10 min if ya want. I think most guys have lipo's.

Just came back from the track and the step-up is completely gone and it's getting pretty smooth where the step-up used to be. Still some loose stuff on top, but we'll get rid of that before Saturday. The end of the straight has been changed a little bit as well, but we'll leave that as a surprise for Saturday.... Come all out and try to earn some cash!

When we kick-off the regular schedule (May 31st), electrics will run Saturday and nitro will run on Sunday every other week (see a page or 2 back). We have not had 1/8th scale electrics out yet, but I would think you would run on Sundays with the other 1/8th scales for the time being. If there is enough interest for 1/8th scale electric, we can put them in a seperate class and decide what day to run them.

We ran them together this winter at FTR and both have pros and cons, but overall it was a pretty even match.... We'll see how it goes when you get it out and maybe I'll change my mind about running them together... ;)

Got the Losi 8T all ready to run for this coming weekend! I hope there are enough truggies! If not I'll be running over buggies or dodging moster trucks
Might have to take it for a few laps this week at the track and make a couple adjustments.
