Just an update - I called Panic Rev this morning, and they will not be open until Tuesday. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. Babrick and I are going to stop and talk to Marty Tues. or Wednesday, and even see if this would be something they might consider...I'll let you know as soon as I talk to him!!

Would it make sense to look forward and maybe line up a drivers stand, maybe see who has a scavelding? Mike: Is the pit lane at M-40 moveable? Maybe we can check with Kevin or Kim to see if we can borrow it if we do find an indoor place?

If not, I'd be willing to pitch in some money,time, and tools to build one.

I was just there. Don't think you'll like it. It's not washed out, but there is standing water in a number of places and I'm sure the rest is really soft. Not sure how long the gate will be open either.

I was hoping it would of dried up some. It's been sunny here for the past couple hours so that's why I went down there to check it out. Let me know if you are heading down there still. Might be able to broom the puddles out?

Edwin, yes - the pit lane at M-40 is movable. Jeff and I built it to be modular, so you can actually tear it down in sections, load it in a truck, and move it. Maybe check with Kevin to see if would let us do that...:thumbsup:

we will be stopping over to Panic Rev motorsports on Tuesday to see if they are interested in having a RC racing track in the building. Will post if they are interested or not, Tuesday night.

Brian, sorry for not posting about this, but trying to not get anyone's hopes up or get everyone excited over nothing, you know?

You are correct, the township has put the brakes on any MX indoor action as of now. They are being required to build an outdoor fueling station for the bikes, as well as a catch basin for any spilled fuel. It also has to be (is in the process of, sorry!) re-zoned for recreational use - not industrial, and they have to plant trees, open up parking spaces, the list goes on and on....

The fear (possibly) is that they would need to do that with R/C cars as well. As my conversation went with one of the main people at Panic Rev, it is not up to them at all - but the inspector. Until he says yes/no, their hands are tied.:(

Brian, thanks, but as I was told by Marty (part owner), he and his partner Tim were going to look into this and call us back and let us know.

I really do appreciate the offer, but I think that if you call after they call, that might raise the attention level and maybe get them too much attention, you know? And you know as well as I do - the less attention you get from a township inspector, the better!

I will let you know as soon as I hear back from them about it...hang in there, maybe something good will come of it, but for now - we'll let them handle it and see where it goes!!

No i didnt get the platinum im too poor for that i got the original revo used it has a few parts that need replacing but other than that it runs good so not a terribly bad buy
