Yep, racing starts at 7 PM. There are several tires that work out at MX131, like bow-ties, crime-fighters, hitmen and if you are really lucky holeshots will work!

Open for practice Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday! Come on out and I am looking forward seeing you on the 30th!

What's the schedule for the rest of the season looking like?

To all that raced in the East v West shootout on July 15, to which I couldn't race the rescheduled event. I just got my Xtreme RC Cars Mag (Oct 08), and starting on page 60 the shootout is in a full 3 page spread, with Champies Buggy catching air. There are a few shoots with Team Chronic in them as well as mainy Westsiders.

Thanks to Edwin we (Michigan tracks) are getting some great exposure. Looking forward to attend the next one.

Forgot about the ROAR race, but it was the only Saturday the whole MX131 crew would be available to host a race.... We'll discuss and go from there. Thanks for pointing out about the ROAR race.

It is going to be a tough 2009 for track scheduling...only so many weekends...several tracks not all that far from each other (all good tracks too) and only so many racers to go around. I would be nice to work together but it is tough to do that!

I know that I will do what I can to help out with as few conflicts as I can with you guys, especially if you are going to run Saturdays.

The final results have been posted on the MX131 website. If you are in the top 3 in the final standings, PM MX131 here on HobbyTalk with your address information. The trophies will be personalized and send out to you! :thumbsup:

Hi all:wave: I've given the names for trophies to Tony, so hopefully we'll have them soon. He is giving trophies to the first three places in each class, as long as the racer was scored at least three nights.
As far as racing goes for the rest of the season,,,I am going to try and get 2 set up for September, probably on Sundays beacause Saturdays are looking pretty loaded. Tony also said he would like to have one more big race in October to say thanks to everyone. You know.....free food....cash back etc.

MX131 will host races on Sunday September 21st and Sunday September 28th! More details will follow!

Truggy class has been off and on.... For some reason that class has not taken off here on the West side yet.... I would love to check out the RC8T, as I almost bought one myself! :) For now I will only focus on the RC8, but it's got BB shocks now! Yes, get some extra parts! Internal, diffs and housings, smaller parts too. Everything else is bigger. I am going to order the associated BBs when they come available. Seems like everywhere I check doesn't have them yet even Ebay takeoffs of the RC8T. Soon though.

I got the Jammin SBB shocks on my RC8 now: a world of difference! I only ran it for one tank practicing at Stateline on Friday, but the car was dialed!
