The East West shootout is on 100% for tomarrow, the track turned out beautiful, it is open right now for free practice and camping for anyone that wants to come out and run, all of the east siders stayed over for tomarrow So now we need the west siders out.

What an awesome shootout race! It's great getting the Eastsiders together with the Westsiders for an event like this. The Eastsiders got the win by 5 pts! Just wait till next time :thumbsup: You guys are a great bunch of racers and it was a blast. We welcome you back anytime :) A huge thanks to Tony the owner of MX131 and their crew for putting on a great show, Mr. Warner for some great announcing as always, General RV for the free wireless internet and A-main hobbies for the hundreds upon hundreds of dollars worth of stuff like t-shirts, bearings, lipo packs, tons of big gift certificates! What a great way to end the race day with all this stuff to give away, and the trophies that MX131 provided were awesome, very nice metal trophies :thumbsup:
There were 100's of pics taken and I can't wait to see them along with all the video footage. There was some huge air going on and it was like flying a plane :p . Stay tuned the pics will be posted. I don't remember who had the camera but the lens on the thing was huge so I think they will be high quality pics. I know what pictures are gonna be on my screen saver :woohoo: Thanks everyone for a heck of a fun weekend. Hey Hank W. I didn't even know MX131 had brochures made up with pics and all the info on them! They are sweet looking! I'll stop by and get some so Kevin can drop them off at gas stations he goes to work on all over West Michigan.

As Don said, it will take a little while to get all the pictures loaded. Nicole Flath was trigger happy and filled up 2 2GB cards! I will be going through them this week and will get pictures posted as soon as possible. We also have 2 tapes full of video from qualifying and the mains! I will try to get that together on a DVD as soon as possible! Stay tuned!

Thanks to everyone that did end up coming out yesterday! It was such a great day of racing. Unfortunately the East sides took home most of the hardware, but we will get some back next year! :thumbsup:

Had a nice mid week rain. I got my grass cut and whipped just in time tonight. Looks like rain for Friday Saturday and Sunday :freak:

I have 20 cases of O'Donnell 20% and 30% if you guys are in need. I will also deliver it to the track if you bought 6 or more cases.
20% is $130 a case.
30% is $160 a case.

I just wanted to say that I was out at the track yesterday and I love it. I've been into off road r/c for a couple years, but could only use them in the yard. My friend told me he seen a track as he was going to the drags. I always thought I would have to drive to Gobles to get track experience. But now there is one in my hometown. The track sure kicked my butt though. I'm glad I was the only one out there. I need alot more practice. Plus I picked the most humid day to come out. The cars didn't want to run well. I just wanted to say ''great job'' I will be there often. I don't have any friends into r/c and it will be nice to meet some of you. I need help.:cry:

Glad to hear you liked it; it really is a great track - wish you could have come out last weekend and seen the racin' going on at the FTMS race - it was off the hook (check some of the photos in the East vs West thread:thumbsup:). Come on out on any given night, and I'm sure you'll catch one of us out there. Any of us would be glad to give any help we can to get you going in the right direction! Hope to see you out there!

Hey guys, I am down around South Bend Indiana and want to come check the track out and do some practicing, and had a few questions
-Is there an offical practice day for the track or is it open when ever the complex is?
-If there is no set practice day is there a day that you guys usually do practice on?
-I also saw that you at least need extension cords for power in some of the posts, is this stil the case as you have been open awhile?

Night racing would be great for Promoting your location as well. The lights from the highway, every kid on earth will be screaming in the car! Just like a moth to the flame.

First off..Brandon, the track is open for practice anytime the facility is. You still need cords or a generator to get power.

For those of you wondering about the lights.... If you've every seen the nght road crews, they use a tall self comtained multi head light. Maybe 15 ft or so. We're looking to set up 4 of them

Call the newpaper and have them cover the event, so they can explain what was going on under the lights to all the people who are wondering what has been going on and what went on that night! It would make a cool photo for the sports section!

I invited all the local news channels for the race next week, but did not hear from a single one of them..... Newspaper might be a different story though....
