Are there any plans for pit area/facilities?

Ed

How do you mean? Pit area as in a pit lane? That's already in place: 32' elevated pit lane!

Or do you mean for parking? Plenty of parking available with porta-potties. There is also food and drinks available on race days! Power is limited right now, but expansion is in the plans, but no timeline on that right now.

Let me know if I didn't answer your question.

Edwin

MX 131, Edwin and Dave,
I tried to stay away from your dates as best as I could but with work and family stuff, holidays and such it's a challenge, I'm sure you guys understand that.
I will post the dates on my thread. If you guys want to post it on yours that's fine with me, I wouldn't expect you to do that though.

Thanks for all your support,
Duke.

Today's electric race has been cancelled. Martin got hit by the rain pretty hard. We will add the electric program to the nitro program tomorrow, weather permitting. Stay posted about the possible changes for tomorrow.

Kevin,

Jeff and I were out at the track last night and had it looking great, but with the rain last night - it is pretty wet again. I just talked to Dave and Edwin, and both are trying to dry it off right now; the softest sections are the sections towards the driver's stand.

Edwin and I talked about it, and he is insisting we can get it back into shape before 1 PM. He did say that if anybody wants to come out early and help try and fill in some of the wash outs, etc., please feel free to do so. I can tell you that from what Jeff and I saw last night, there were sections that were wet from earlier in the day and were still pretty damp, but it could have been driven on...so...it's hard to say how quickly it'll dry out today.

Like I said, the MX131 crew will be trying to get it ready as quick as possible to pull off starting around 1 PM. If not, we can always push it back an hour!

Hope to see everyone there; gotta go finish packing my stuff up!

I am very impressed what you guys are doing for the racers! A-main hobbies and General RV are huge sponsors. I'm telling ya this track is at a perfect location right in between GR and Kzoo. MX131 throws some awesome races. We have the two best race tracks on the WestSide, MX131 and Duke's. Let me tell you there are other tracks(I think) :p and they are mere wanna bee's. I can see huge events at these two places, and they have the facilities to do it. Word will get out. I have a great idea for advertising and this could be all it takes(Edwin check your PM). When you can pull one of the biggest sponsors like A-Main hobbies to your track your doing something right. I can see a huge turnout at this race so ya better start early or at least have some of those huge mobile lights that you can rent. Not no little garage flood lamps :drunk: Could you just imagine trying to run a race with halogen flood lamps around the track! "Hey was that my truck or was it my trucks shadow passing me"  I'm just glad to FINALLY see that the Westside has two real tracks thanks to Duke and MX crew. We have been waiting for this for a couple years now. :p So when is that 40,000 sq ft building going up!
Anyone need a pit bitch for this race? I will make a good one  Just supply me with unlimited Mountain Dew and food and I'm yours baby! Oh ya and I won't go home with you after the race.....I'm not that easy but I heard Kevin was :woohoo:
Al Horne was nice enough to throw the East vs. West shootout on the East side, now thanks to MX131 we can return the favor with it being on the West side! Welcome East-siders!

If you guys racing nitro cars need fuel and have priced it at your LHS need fuel I have plenty. O'Donnell 20% and 30%. I have 10 cases now and 16 coming in next week. the price on the batch of 16 will be higher but not the real high priced stuff, I got my order in just in time!

HEY DON WHOSE YOUR SPONSOR?
Done racing this year. I was planning on racing with my boys but one just does not want to race anymore after what happened at a track. Bummed me out to the point where I don't want to race this year either. I was really looking forward to getting them both into racing and making a "family" thing out of it but it is not going to happen now, he's worried it will happen again and has no interest in RC racing. Maybe by next year he will want to race. We will see what happens. I'll be around "E", if ya need anything shoot me a pm. Your one of the good guys "E". Maybe a little "crazy" at times but a very likable and cool guy. Keep your attiude the way it is and don't get brain washed by others. If ya ever get into nitro and need a pit bitch lmk and I'll glady show ya the ropes. I'm not the best but we can get-R-done bud. I'll still be around this year to help anyone that needs it. Take care "E".
