Here is a video of a corroded tow truck that I dug out of the Sand Box in my back yard.

The tow truck was in the ground for about 5 years.

Here are pictures of the sides of both...

The paint is actually bubbling off of the side of the car, it is kind of weird :p

Here are picture of the bases...

At first I thought the black base was a variation, then I realized the chrome had been "stripped" off of the base!!!

Thanks for looking,

I think this is really cool. How do you go about making up a "video" like this? I can do a set of pictures changing into each other, but have no idea how to do it bit by bit as you have done.

:) :D :p

I have a program that is called "Ulead GIF animator"

Once you have the two pictures and you insert them into the program. You can add the effects that you want and it does it for you. then I did this again so it would do it both ways (old -> new -> old -> new and so on) The only thing is is that in this program. I can't figure out how to morph pictures together.

I made this of an unrivited hot wheel. I just cropped the pictures so they were in the indentical location, and put them into this program. I adjusted the timing between pictures and saved it. I didn't put any effects into it but if I wanted to I could have.

Thanks for the comments

Yes, it is the first version of the Dodge Caravan when it was released in 1984.

Initially, Dodge approached Matchbox to create a special promotional set for the 1983 Las Vegas Motor Show. They did a brand new Daytona and Caravan, both in burgundy, and mounted them on a plinth. Both models contained no opening parts. The models were then slightly retooled and released to dealers in special yellow grid boxes in early 1984, still in burgundy, but this time with opening parts (opening door on the Caravan, opening hood on the Daytona). They were then released in the general range in 1984. However, the Caravan was changed to silver in USA and black in ROW areas for it's general release.

The special boxes were done just for the dealer promotion.

:) :D :p
