I saw on the CUP practice on SPEED yesterday that some teams have gained speed by mounting the body on the chassis skewed. Would this help on R/C cars and how would you mount the body to get the skew needed?

I have been running my body like that for some time now.

Does it help? maybe.

I've been too but it's mainly because I am not worth a flip at mounting bodies!

I thought the bodies were already skewed when they were designed and molded.

Yeah, I've added rake and skew to my bodies for the same reasons as McLin.

You mark the body, cut the post and then even when measured, some things are just a little off.

Yes, leave the roof at the legal minimum height you need and slam the front of the car. I use the THD Protoform body and by the time you slam the front for carpet you are past the carpet trim line. The bodies are slanted from side to side, so pay attention when mounting the body so it is done correctly.
