i have a 10.5 motor that i bought from some one that is one of the better drivers around my area and the blue wire was cut he said that it is just the temp. wire which i am sure is true but what would you gain from clipping this wire. and since its sensored will the motor some what govern itself if it starts getting to hot. would like to know before i cut the wire on my 13.5 and my other question is? is this even legal.

Hi Dave , If you cut hte wire the speedo will not thremal .... I wouldnt cut it unless you really need to .. It makes no performance gain or loss..
