SAME PLACE - SAME DATE - SAME RATE!
PLUS Ray Woods RC Video on 2008's race is now OUT on DVD!

We are 99 percent done with our 2009 contract with the Radisson Resort in Orlando for the upcoming 2009 Snowbird Nationals. Dates are Jan 26th - Feb 1st, 2009. We have secured the same hotel rate as last year, which is fantastic! Racers will once again be able to get a 10 percent discount off rooms if they stay 5 nights or more. The base hotel rate is $89 before discount, and $99 before discount for the deluxe rooms with the sleep number beds. The hotel has added an all new fitness room with TVs on equipment, an outside movie theatre, and a bunch more. Plan on a wonderful family week and tons of COMPETITION with the world's best racers and teams! This will be the 15th annual 'birds, and we welcome everyone to be a part of it!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE:
As a 'thank you' for coming back to the Radisson, they are going to be offering for a limited time a FREE UPGRADE to a deluxe room in an upcoming month very soon (just for the Snowbirds). So stay tuned to when we sign the dotted line in the next couple weeks so everyone can take advantage of some big savings from last year. Some stayed for 8 of more nights, so we are talking almost 100 bucks less than 2008! We had over 300 rooms on our peak night last year which was a blast. The Snowbird 'Hot Rod Hotel' will be rocking again.

Make sure to pick up a copy of the 2008 Snowbirds from Ray Wood RC Videos. There is over 100 minutes of racing action, oval and road. Several of the last qualifiers, B-main bumps, and A-mains are all shown. Jam packed with slow motion action, wild camera shots, crashes, side-by-side racing, interviews, and tons more. It is totally awesome! I have a few extra copies, you can e-mail me to order (rcthunder@aol.com). More info is available at http://www.raywoodrcvideos.com. We also have a sneak peak of the DVD on our race site: http://www.snowbirdnationals.com.

Until next time,
Mike Boylan

the RACKET ships via DPS (duuuuuhhhhhmallie package shipping), so no need to worry, unless his dodge truck breaks down again, which is becoming a tradition
