should i use deans ? or sermo's for my checkpoint 5400 7.4 2 cell ?

Just use the 4mm bullet plugs sockets that are already in the LiPO pack. Your ESC may need the power lead wires lengthend.

Another plus to using 4mm bullet plugs is that Venom makes 4mm sockets (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSMJ4&P=0)that solder onto NiMH batteries very well. I am going this route since most LiPO's have 4mm sockets and it would save the hassle when swtiching batteries to meet track/class rules.

I use Dean's plugs when I am not hard wiring something. You can use Deans Brand or you can bulk buy T-plugs from Ebay. They both work and are universial.
