John Forbes here a new guy to sprint cars I should be at the Lancing test and tune on sunday. I will make my way up from Canada. Thank you to Randy Baker, Fred Murry, Larry Cross, for all your on going help so fare..cant wait to fire up this sprint for the first time..

hello Scott....1978 ford Pinto that i built about 5 years ago to race in the 4 cylinder class at my home track. I sold the car 3 years ago and its still one of the fastest 4 cylinder at that track.

crazy i hope you have a great time sun. there's a great group of people that race in lansing and belong to the club . don't be afraid to ask any of them for there help.

Ten..thanks for atvice about Lancing .I will need to lean on all the help i can get from all the lancing members. hope to see yah at the track some time....

You didn't run that Pinto at Milan did you? Years ago there was a Pinto in the bracket class that could run his dial in every friggin time. It used to make me crazy sittin' at the line, loading up the engine while watching him go half way down the track before I could launch and then either break out trying to catch him or stumble and not get as close to the dial in as he did. I don't think I ever beat that guy.

I believe that Pinto would probably run in a Pony-class on an oval track not a dragstrip. You don't see many drag cars running down the track with a checkered flag hanging out the window... LOL. :thumbsup:

Milan sorry not me . sorry i only race oval ..My buddy seen a pinto before with a 429 cj with a blower all done up at the drag strip before elliot lake drag strip before..
