Engine ran for 5 minutes then quit. Seems like it's not getting fuel.
I drained tank and carb then filled up w/fresh gas but it wont start.
Pulled spark plug and it's dry even after cranking for a while.
Any sugestion?

I think it may be the float valve in the carb.

cleaned carb and the float seems ok.
does not seem to be getting much spark.
maybe the coil....???

ok I put gas directly in the spark plug hole to see if it would crank, but nothing happened. Checked spark again and it looks good. Put in new spark plug and same no fire.
The bowl fills with gas.
Check all hoses for leaks.
Jets look good.
Oil level is good.
What next please????
Remember it just shut off after running for five or so minutes. It did not spudder it just shut down!!!

Found to Problem the timing belt is broken.

Those belts are supposed to last the life of the engine...
