I'm planning on going on a little road trip for some R&R and I'm looking for some outdoor RC oval tracks that I can have some fun and possibly race against the locals. I'm looking in either Mass.; New York state or possibly Rhode Island. Vermont or New Hampshire isn't out the question either. I'll be traveling up from the Hartford CT. area and staying in that area for about a week in mid to late June. Any good tracks?...... Thanx!

not sure if Ohio is out of the question or not, but Classic R/C Hobbies and Raceway in Akron has a decent sized asphalt oval 260' or so runline (foam tires). Also they are putting in a clay oval for sprint cars as well as building an off road track.

If you don't mind the drive to Houston area once and a while check out
Gulf Coast R/C Track. Currently they race: Apshalt Oval 13.5, 1:12 Oval, Nitro Sedan, 1/8 Nitro onroad, and several Offroad classes.

In the fall they should have a indoor carpet track for oval and smaller scale like 1:18, 1:14 and 1:12 cars.
