ScottH 04-21-2008, 12:32 AM Buds super Bi-level on the pod for me. Nitro Pan class though. I think most are running them on the bodies in electric now. Did you guys see my invite to the GASCAR race this coming Saturday? BA Motorsports 04-21-2008, 12:37 AM Buds super Bi-level on the pod for me. Nitro Pan class though. Scott, I responed to the invite on the HQMA track thread and really appreciate it. ScottH 04-21-2008, 12:39 AM Cool, I saw that. swtour 04-21-2008, 01:36 AM I ran the BUDS for years, but broke them too easy. Now I run the re-enforced PEDANO wings (Just ordered 3 more yesterday as a matter of fact) Most of our racing is done on either flat asphalt w/ FOAMS - BODY MOUNTED WING or VELODROME - BODY MOUNTED WING( w/ virtually ALL the kicker cut off) 2Groovy4U 04-21-2008, 01:40 AM Which wing do you paved oval racers use? Do you run a body mount or pod mount? Buds bi-level :) you can always remove bi-level if to much. Raymond irvan36mm 04-21-2008, 06:55 AM Pedano small 1/10 wing w/ Pedano wing mounts on body. I've had my wing for over a year (and numerous wrecks) and it's now finally coming apart. Very durable!!!!! -George KLUPI 04-21-2008, 09:39 AM Buds Super Wing (one level) with pod mounts on our banked tri-oval using capped tires. RCMits 04-25-2008, 02:54 AM anyone use the muddslide wings yet? McLin 04-25-2008, 06:26 AM Buds Bi-Level. Mostly on the body but sometimes on the pod, it depends on the track. 10th scale Nitro Pan Car. RPM 04-25-2008, 07:41 AM Thunder wings are the best!! Diff Dude 04-25-2008, 09:42 AM Rocket, A good rule of thumb for where to position your wing is, when running foams put the wing on the body and when running caps attach it to the pod. Dave IndyRC_Racer 04-25-2008, 10:03 AM At the Indy Velodrome (1123' runline/banked concrete/cap tires) in most classes people mount the wing to the chassis or body. If you mount the wing to the rear pod at 50mph+ when the car hits a bump the pod mounted wing changes too much in angle - causing the front end to be pulled off the ground. Last time I went to Midwest Triclone (banked asphalt/cap tires) I think the standard was a pod mounted wing. davepull 04-25-2008, 10:35 AM Which wing do you paved oval racers use? Do you run a body mount or pod mount? we run foams on flat asphalt down here. I run the wing on the body with a PRP (pedano racing products) wing and wing mounts. Jamie Hanson 04-25-2008, 11:17 AM The Muddslide Protan wing is the one I have used for carpet and asphalt both. For both capped and foam tires. swtour 04-25-2008, 12:23 PM anyone use the muddslide wings yet? I haven't, but I see they have them on the web site now... I've been impressed with all the other MUDDSLIDE stuff I've used...so I'm sure the wings are great too. paulwest 04-25-2008, 05:02 PM DIFF DUDE got it right. McLin 04-25-2008, 06:10 PM Last year I would have agreed with Diff Dude about where the wing went but for some reason, at the end of last paved season and starting again with this season, I am seeing (and using) the wing on the body more and more. This is paved asphalt with capped tires. Some slight banking and some flat. Can't explain it. katf1sh 04-26-2008, 10:51 AM big pedano wing and the new super light weight pedano one piece wing mounts! i always thought the rule on mounting the wing was...... high banked concrete cap tire racing was wing on pod everything else was wing on body parrott88 04-26-2008, 07:42 PM Pedona wing, Body mounted captain11 04-26-2008, 08:28 PM where can I get pedano wings.
