Hi
Well my luck with finding "Muddy" Tractors this month has gotten better! In the last 2 weeks, I have found the Farmall 200 & 460 "Muddies" plus the 8920 with Loader, MXU 125 with loader and 1206 all "Muddy" versions. I was estatic with the finds but It gets even better:
Today I was out driving my new to me Ford F-150 and went to a town about an hr and 45 minutes from me that had a TSC, unfortunately no "Muddies" showed up at the TSC. As I was leaving, I suddenly remembered an Agco dealer that was very close by, in fact I had passed the side road coming into town and thought about it as I was going into the town but passed, on the way out, I decided to head down the road to the Agco dealer. Knowing that the dealer might be closed, I took a chance anyway. To my delight the dealer was on it's spring extended hrs for farmers. I quickly hoped out of my truck and headed inside. I immedentially spotted the small Toy selection, but to my delight their was eight 1/64th DT 220A Agco's on the shelf. I decided their was no harm in looking through them. I had visted Several Agco dealers and had no luck finding the Clean DT 220A's let alone the Muddy version. Come to expect, the dealers that did order the DT 220A's all were clean. So as I was looking through the 1/64th DT 220A's, the majority were clean. With only two left to check, I knew the odds were stacked against me but low and be hold when I picked up the 6th 1/64th Agco DT 220A it was a MUDDY!!! I nearly fell over!! After visting serveral other Agco dealers and no luck finding them I had finally came across the Agco DT 220A Muddy. I quickly made my way over to the counter, paid for it and left, I did not mention it's value or what It had been known to go for. I now just need to find the Muddy MF 8270 to have both Agco Muddy versions. The search is on for it and I will probably eventually find one. Take Care Jason B
