A bit worried about a few regulars I have not seen in a long while, any good news would be appreciated.

Last time Kevin Masters posted was to me on 2/22 and said he would contact me the next day and I didn't hear from him since. I sent him some emails through out the week but he never replied. I hope everythings ok.

Several Emails to Phil (boss9) have netted no replies. I have been shooting him a short note every other week or so. The last one was just last wednesday.

Larry has always come and gone. He has explained to me that his job keeps him really busy sometimes and he has no chance to even think about slot cars. I dunno...seems like a guy could organize automotive events at Daytona in his spare time when he isn't teaching people how to drive King Richards cars. :D Yeah....he is busy.

I hope Big Kevin is well. I thought I caught a snippet in chat a while back that he was in poor health?

Bless them all real good, Coach. I hope they come back to us soon.

Hi Gang
Well, like the title says, I'm not dead..............yet.:p I finally "retired" from Petty Ent., mainly due to my health, and "advancing" age:D I'm still helpin put on the Car Shows at Daytona Intl Speedway, and doin some (limited) travelin' to promote the shows. Hopefully, now that I have some much needed "quality fool around time", I can get back out to "the ol' Fab Shop" and see just how far behind I am in my track/car/casting work. The tracks haven't been run on in a looooong time, nor have the cars been run. I have been "lurkin about" here at times keepin up on Coach, JoeZ and the rest of the "old gang".

I am still workin on/playin with my 1:1 cars (nothing heavy Coach). My TM bought a wagon same year and color as my "phantom" 92 Yenko Impala SS" wagon, only hers is a Buick Roadmaster wagon. Her wagon is being "phantomed" into a Buick "GSX" wagon complete with rear disc brake conversion, drilled & vented rotors, custom hood, paint, and interior mods. She bought it during the Thanksgiving car show at the speedway from a friend who also works at the show. I didn't know she bought it until she handed me a plane ticket to Philly 4 days after the show to go get it. I drove back thru the ice storm on the first weekend of December from Camden NJ back to sunny warm Daytona Beach. That was an "adventure".

I'll check back in again soon. When is "chat nite, or nites" again? I'm old and forgot.

Larry

ps, Whats the "reward"? What ever the ransom is that they are asking for me, DON'T PAY IT!!!

Glad to hear that you are alright Larry...
Retired from Petty Ent? Does that mean that they have an opening? lol
I can sweep floors pretty well...

It sounds like the Buick is going to be a fun build...
Please keep us apraised...

Meanwhile, I have to get back to putting a brake line on my nephews 92 Taurus...
*sigh*
