Jayski has been the standard bearer for tracking all of the variations of paint schemes in NASCAR for the last several seasons.

When I saw your post header I thought you might be referring to Sam Bass (http://www.sambass.com/) who is an official NASCAR artist and also a slot head. One of Sam's favorite subjects is Dale Earnhardt, who also started his racing career at the slot car track.
