It just comes down to practice. Last year at the G3 Championships, we had a Kit race where we had to assemble a G-Jet in 13 minutes... Mike King wasn't feeling to strong on getting one done in that amount of time so I lent him one of my beaters, showed him how to piece it together. He must have ripped it down and built it up 5 or 6 times and he had the hang of it easily. Now if I could just get him to stop disassembling my cars....... lenny 04-17-2008, 01:02 AM Best way is to have a junker.... rip it down to nothing and put it back together, use another as a reference if you need. Would having a removable rear bulkhead help? SuperFist 04-25-2008, 09:24 PM Just a few things to know when assembling a super G+. After you put the bulkhead and the timing plate on the armature when you put the motor magnets on make sure the magnets are all the way forward on the timing plate so the magnets are only touching the armature on the back of the magnets. Then make sure the shoe hangars are all the way forward in the chassis so not to bend the contacts on the bulkhead during assembly. Put the magnet and bulkhead in on one side of the chassis from the top again making sure the shoe hangars are all the way forward in the chassis. Then just roll the other magnet in again make sure the shoe hangar is all the way forward and watch the contact on the bulkhead go in behind the shoe hangar. Also make sure the rear bushing goes into the chassis and is not out against the pinion. Then after you put the traction magnets in push the magnet clip straight down into the chassis and not try to hook it on one side of the traction magnets first. Because the magnet clip has to go down into grooves on top of the rear bushing. Then gently twist the chassis between your hands to make sure everything is seated properly The rest is easy. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
