I may be being paranoid, i bought a hv 4.5 system on ebay listed as new. The system instructions are clearly for a 6.5 system that included motor with heat sink, no heat sink came with it! The motor was in open plastic package (like it was bought seperately) sleeve says it is a 4.5, the motor is a little scratched but shaft does not look like pinion set screw was ever tightened up on it. My question is could seller have switched motor sleeves and he kept the 4.5 motor and left me with a 6.5 with a 4.5 motor sleeve? And is there any other way to verify it is a 4.5 other than the sleeve?

I bought an HV 4.5 straight from Novak, and it also came with directions for a 6.5. I think thats just how Novak packages it. But if you want to check pop the sleeves off and look at the magnets, all the Novak motors I've taken apart will have there turns written on the magnets in sharpie marker.
