if you follow the directions in the pack and if you set up the charger at least my ice charger only lets you go so far so that you can't over charge it. kind of like a built in safety

1C = 4.8 amps CC/CV or maybe CV/CC.

If it was me, I'd check with WindTunnel and see if they have a "contact us" or a "lipo use page" on there web-site, just to be sure that someone here wouldn't blow smoke up your scuppers.

charge 9.6a..2c,you'll have to tell the charger it's a larger pack so the amp rate will increase,my GFX is the same type of charge set-up. discharge to 6v cutoff,you don;t need a balancer,give Rob a call..

1C is fine, 2C can be done. Just keep track of the temps. Keep the battery under 140 degrees and it will be happy for a long time.

My Hyperion 610i will do up to 10amps and 2C without "fooling" the charger.

Check the instrustions on the balancer cause most have a limit they can be used at like 3amps or 6amps other wise 4.8 will work great.

Go to Windtunnel's product support over in the Oval Section here on Hobby Talk. You can ask Rob about his batteries there and get the real answer.
